it is as if each piece of glass is an individual...frozen in d concrete of mundane worldliness...n guarding itself againt d other individuals with barbed surfaces..overall we are all covered wid cobwebs of doubts and fears.. waiting to be redeemed..atta verbose philosophy :)

@Babul Bhatt: hmm..interesting:)
I thought it was a brocken glass at first!
@alla: these are indeed barbed fences with pieces of broken piercing glass to protect boundaries surrounding any house from thieves.
Interesting. At first they looked like fallen leaves but the translucency of glass finally gave it away. I was surprised to see that people still use them back home as a way of protection :-)

@raingirl: :)
Very apt name...And i agree with Maria's comments... There are too many barriers in one's life... and we are made to stick to our limitations of society, culture, boundaries similar to standing in a concrete mix!

Am glad you took the time to bend down to those shards and get this perspective for us. These macro shots give awesome results from things we see everyday. Just the perspective changes everything. Same could be to our problems(barriers). A different perspective often opens up new ways to tackle it and new ideas to cope with it.

@ConvexClix: yes.how true. a depressing perspective can turn into something absolutely optimistic if tackled with a little hope:) hope I learn tht..
